relaxation. You can choose from Class 1,2 & 3 rapids spanning over 50 miles! Overnight canoeing is also available for the more
adventurous. We even offer gift certificates, a wonderful surprise for the adventurer!

PLEASE ARRIVE 30 MINUTES BEFORE SCHEDULED TRIP TIME
All trips offer excellent Smallmouth Bass fishing. Ask, and we will let you know what the fishing lure and the tip for the day is.
Have your cooler and your personal equipment ready when you arrive. This will allow more time for your river trip. You sign in, park
your car, we ask everyone to load the bus, and we take care of the rest. You are fully briefed on the river trip and the conditions.
On arrival of the put-in, a staff member is there to assist you and answer any last minute questions you may have, and away you go for
a great day on the James River.

BEGINNER
Trip #1
Hatton Ferry to Scottsville -- 4 miles
losts of riffles, estimated paddle time 1-2 hours
Includes: shuttle, lifevest, and trip briefing
 
Departs 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (On the Hour)

Experience the tranquility of the James River on this relaxing day trip. Lots of riffles. Taking a cooler with lunch and snacks
add much pleasure as you pull off to the side of the river and launch on the Island or one of the many very large river boulders. Enjoy
sighting our wildlife including Deer, Osprey, Grey Herons and Bald Eagles as you lazily float back to base camp.
Trip #2
Warren to Scottsville -- 7 miles
Class 1 rapids
paddle time 2-4 hours
Includes: shuttle, lifevest, trip briefing and river map

Great Experience for the Novice paddlers. This trip is for the fishermen that want to concentrate on that citation smallmouth bass
instead of a lot of paddling.
INTERMEDIATE
Howardsville to Scottsville -- 12.5 miles
Class 1 & 2 rapids
paddle time 4-6 hours
Includes: shuttle, lifevests,trip briefing and river map

This an all day paddle. The upper section of this (12) mile trip is a great float for the beginner/moderate paddler. (Class I-II)
Paddling back down the river to where your car is parked for the duration of the day. Inside showers are available. All within walking
distance of many conveniences, restaurants, shops, etc. which you would not normally experience after a wilderness canoeing trip.
EXPERIENCED
Scottsville to Bremo Bluff -- 12 miles
Class I, II, & III Rapids
4-6 hr. estimated paddle time
Includes: shuttle, lifevest, and trip briefing
Departs 8:00 a.m.

This is a challenging paddle trip and demands some experience. It is a great trip for those paddlers who are ready, willing and able
to put that little extra excitement in their lives. Very scenic section of the river braided by dozens of Islands, numerous Class I,
II, & III rapids. Lots of wildlife to see.
PICK UP TIME AT BREMO BLUFF 3:00 p.m. (Only)
CANCELLATION POLICY
Total amount of rental fee is required with reservation. Refunds are available with a one week notice of cancellation. "NO SHOW" will forfeit their payment. Reservations and full payment can be made with cash, check, Travelers cheque, VISA OR Master Card, Discover
We reserve the right to cancel any trips if weather or water conditions are hazardous. We recommend that you call for information on the condition of the river before your trip. If we cancel, you receive a full refund or may reschedule without penalty.
